What is the mark on the exam points. Criteria for evaluating the exam

How the USE results are assessed

The USE results are assessed on a 100-point scale and are presented in a special "Certificate of the results of the unified state exam."

When assessing the results of the USE, the minimum number of test points for each educational subject is established, confirming the mastering by the graduate of the basic general educational programs of secondary (complete) education in accordance with the requirements of the federal educational standard of secondary (complete) general education. If the student scored less than the established minimum number of points (did not overcome the minimum threshold), then the USE is considered not passed.

The value of the minimum threshold is announced within 6-8 days after the USE in the subject in the main terms and 2-3 days after the USE in additional terms in July.

Unified State Exam Assessment Scale

When you complete tasks on the exam, for each correct decision, 1 or more points are awarded, depending on the difficulty. In this case, a correctly completed task of part A or B is estimated at 1 point, part C - up to 4 points. The sum of these points is called the “baseline score” (PB). In fact, this is the number of correctly completed tasks.

    The number of minimum PBs for different subjects may differ, for example:
  • math: 36 PB,
  • biology: 36 PB,
  • foreign languages: 22 PB.

But these are not the points that will be useful to you, for example, for admission to a university. They need to be translated on a 100-point scale. This is the so-called "test score" (TB).

TB evaluates the student's level of preparedness. It depends on the level of complexity of the tasks performed on the exam. This score is used to determine the final grade. The maximum test score on the exam in any subject: 100 points.

The primary score is converted to a test score according to a special formula.

How the Unified State Exam affects obtaining a certificate

The basis for issuing a secondary education certificate to a graduate is satisfactory USE results, that is, the number of points is not lower than the minimum threshold in compulsory subjects (Russian language and mathematics). In this case, the graduate receives 2 documents: a school certificate and a certificate of the results of the exam.

The final marks are set in the certificate according to the traditional 5-point system, which are defined as the arithmetic average of the graduate's annual marks for grades 10-11 (12).

The USE results do not affect the final marks set in the certificate.

If a graduate has not passed the minimum threshold in one of the subjects - Russian language or mathematics - on the Unified State Exam within the main timeframes and during retake, then he will not be issued a certificate.

How and when you can find out the results of the exam

The results of the exam must be known to participants no later than 3 working days after Rosobrnadzor announces the minimum thresholds for each of the subjects. Thus, no more than 12 days pass from the date of the exam. Most regions inform their USE participants earlier.

Unified State Exam participants - graduates of the current year, certificates of USE results are issued at an educational institution. The rest of the USE participants will find out their results where they received a pass to the USE: this is either the PPE in which they took the exam, or the education governing body of the constituent entity of the Russian Federation, local education governing bodies.

According to the current regulations, each constituent entity of the Russian Federation is independently responsible for informing USE participants about the results. In some regions, this information can be accessed free of charge on the Internet. You can find out your results with an individual code (passport number, etc.).

  • Moscow and Moscow region: www.rcoi.net
  • St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region: ege.spb.ru

Lists of USE participants with their exam results are posted on information boards (at school, PPE, educational administration, etc.).

The validity period of the certificate of the results of the exam

On November 20, 2013, letter No. DL-345/17 of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation "On the effect of the USE results" was published.

"The Ministry of Education and Science of Russia on the issue of the validity of the results of the unified state exam received before the entry into force of September 1, 2013 of the Federal Law of December 29, 2012 No. 273-FZ" On Education in the Russian Federation "(hereinafter - the Federal Law), informs ...

According to part 2 of Article 70 of the Federal Law, the results of the unified state examination for admission to training in undergraduate and specialist programs valid for four years following the year of obtaining such results.

Consequently, admission to organizations that carry out educational activities for bachelor's and specialty programs is allowed based on the results of a unified state exam, confirmed by certificates of the Unified State Exam issued in 2015 and 2016, and valid until the end of 2019 and 2020, respectively.

The USE certificate after September 1, 2020 is valid for four years following the year of passing the exam. That is, the 2018 certificate expires in December 2022 and can be used for admission to universities in the period from 2018 to 2022. Consequently, certificates issued in 2019 and 2020 are valid through 2023 and 2024, respectively.

The scale for transferring USE-2017 points must be known to future applicants and high school graduates. It will come in handy for them in the self-study process. In particular, the scale will be needed to assess your responses when performing training tests. In the review, we will analyze what primary and test scores are, as well as their values for compulsory and specialized subjects. You will also learn how these points look in the familiar five-point system.

Primary and test points

For each answer in KIM, the subject is awarded points. After completing the examination work, all these points are added up. The final value is the primary score. They are also called preliminary. Then comes the turn of transferring the USE points to a 100 point system. There is a very complex mathematical formula for these purposes. It takes into account various statistics. As a result of scaling, the final test score appears, which is entered in the school certificate or is considered by the members of the admissions committee of the university.

« Wheret is the test score of the USE (on a 100-point system), θ is the primary score, θminIs a value that equals one primary point, and θmax, - the estimate corresponding to the primary score, one less than the maximum possible.

Rounding is done to the nearest whole number. Zero primary point corresponds to 0 for the Unified State Exam, and the maximum possible - 100. "

Conversion of USE-2017 points into grades on a five-point scale

However, many are accustomed to assessing their work in "fives", "twos", "threes" and "fours". Therefore, they see all these primary and test scores as just a pile of incomprehensible numbers. To make it easier to assess your results, you can transfer points to a five-point system.

This is what the USE scores look like in compulsory and specialized subjects. The list contains primary and test (they are in brackets) points.

Afterword

This is how the table of evaluations of USE-2017 points looks like on a five-point scale. The values are purely approximate. Therefore, serious inaccuracies are possible in the table. But as a guideline that will help assess your knowledge during the performance of training tests, it may well be in demand.

Surely, from the very first days of the school year, not only future school graduates, but also their parents, who are worried about their children, about whether their children will be able to successfully pass a difficult test in the form of compulsory exams and attestations in school, think about the USE.

And it is probably not in vain that they are worried, because this is a kind of pass to higher educational institutions and a rather difficult test for which you need to prepare intensively - sit down more tightly at textbooks, forget about evening adventures to discos, and attend additional classes and take courses, especially in those subjects that are in question.

All of the above takes a lot of time, diligence, effort and patience.

That is why future graduates of school institutions who have to take exams must set themselves up with responsible preparation for future exams, from the very first days of the upcoming school year.

But at this stage you and I are interested in slightly other questions that do not relate to preparation, but to the passing average scores, what will they be? site

Mandatory minimum and average passing marks for the USE in the 2017 academic year, as well as transitions with a scale of grades and points, that's what we'll talk about below.

Also about what a future applicant of a higher educational institution needs, how many points he will have to score in one or another subject, and so on.

Average and passing USE scores in 2017 - minimum

The grading system proposed below and the scale for transferring USE points in 2017, as well as knowing about the minimum, average and passing scores, are necessary for those students who are not yet used to the innovation; it is difficult for them to adapt to the new system of scoring and calculating points; exam in their usual grades.

Indeed, schoolchildren have a certain confusion in their heads, they get lost and cannot determine exactly how much they need to score in this or that subject during the exam, as well as how much they will receive for solving a problem. site

In a word, this article is proposed in order to understand this, in principle, not a difficult problem. Remember that in any business you need the accuracy and reliability of the information that we present to you.

Use of the Unified State Exam Point Transfer Scale for a 2017 Student

The proposed scale for the transfer of grades and accrued USE points in the 2017 academic year will help future students quickly and accurately translate the points they have earned into grades that they understand in order to summarize and comprehend the result obtained, to understand the new one hundred (100) point grading system received by schoolchildren knowledge.

So we come to the main topic of this article - below we present to you, as future students of Russian universities, an updated version of the translation scale and assessment of the results of state exams, which will be applied in the 2017 academic year, and which has already passed the "tests" in the last academic season and in general, I liked both students and teachers.

USE scores 2017 - what's new in exams, useful?

It is so customary in our country that with the onset of a new school season, we with a "chill in the soul" expect some new products, which, as you know, do not make life easier for a student, but only complicate it. What can we expect in the new academic year, for example, from passing the final and compulsory state exams, or certification?

Specialists from the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and relevant departments are constantly studying their own and world experience, trying to take into account the mistakes of previous test campaigns at school.

It also analyzes the abilities of schoolchildren, their potential and interest in studying at universities, as well as the possibilities of the latter to "process" the number of future students that is planned in the near future.

In the future, all the information received is processed and corrected in accordance with the results obtained, which makes the examination process in schools more effective (according to specialists from the Ministry of Education). site

But all of the above does not make schoolchildren - future students happy, because in the desire of officials to "make their life easier", to make the passing of exams most effective, like everything they have proposed, only creates unnecessary problems and considerable difficulties.

As for the holding of the unified state examination in the 2016-2017 academic year, it will probably remain the same as it was discussed recently. Almost all the nuances of the future examination campaign are known, although some of them are still in the plans and proposals.

Specialists from the Ministry of Education, as well as leading teachers of the country, are still discussing and finalizing the future examination campaign. At the moment, it is known for certain about the innovations that are guaranteed to be and which are assumed.

New in the exam 2017 - innovations in exams

In the past academic years, school graduates were required to pass two compulsory state exams - in mathematics and Russian. From the coming school season, there will be one more of them, i.e. three, which we will talk about below ...

Officials from the Ministry of Education argue that the third subject, as a mandatory state exam, will definitely be and it is urgently needed. But what kind of exam graduates will have to take in 2017 is not yet clear.

If you believe the rumors that have been spreading for a long time, then it will be a subject - History, although there are such suspicions that it will become a Foreign Language. site

The choice in favor of history will most likely be justified, because it is known that the level of knowledge of the history of Russia, including the global one, among today's youth is quite low, and wants to put it mildly, some kind of change for the better.

On the other hand, the compulsory state exam in a foreign language is also justified and relevant. Indeed, in the modern world, without knowledge of a foreign language, it is very difficult to reach any heights, to fully express oneself.

So, it is not yet clear and it is not known in favor of which particular subject the Russian officials will make their choice. But in any case, the third compulsory state exam (USE) in the 2017 academic year will definitely be ...

USE subjects in 2017 - at the choice of the student

As in previous academic years, students will be able to pass exams in 1 (one) subject (previously there were 2), which they choose at their discretion.

The total number of exams in 2017 remains the same - there will be 4 (3 required).

If earlier a student could choose 2 exams at his own discretion, now, due to the fact that 3 (three) became compulsory, he was left with the choice of only 1 (one) exam.

If in the upcoming academic year the third compulsory exam is History or Foreign Language, respectively, one of them will drop out of the list of possible options (choose a subject at your discretion). In this case, the student has the following subjects that he can choose from:

Subject - Physics
--- : --- Computer science;
---: --- Chemistry
--- : --- History
---: --- Biology;
--- : --- Social Studies;
---: --- Geography;
--- : --- Russian literature;
---: --- Foreign language (English, German, French or Spanish).

There is still enough time before the USE-2017 to properly prepare, and it is obvious that schoolchildren - future students - will have a third compulsory exam, which is still unknown. site

First of all, they are interested in the question of whether History or Foreign Language will become the third obligatory test, and if neither one nor the other, then what subject in this case will be the third and will take the currently vacant place in the "cherished" troika.

Did you know that one of the reasons for the introduction of the third additional state exam was the fact that schoolchildren have become much more likely to successfully pass state exams the first time ...

Good luck to all schoolchildren and future students in the 2017 academic year - successfully pass everything, not only the mandatory state exams, and enter the university where you dream of studying and gaining knowledge!

USE 2017

Criteria for assessing USE scores in 2017

Some students to some extent perceive the minimum scores on the unified state exam as an opportunity to feel relaxed, because in fact, as he believes, he passed the USE, i.e. overcame this mark. But there is also a downside - in no case should you underestimate the minimum mark on the exam.

This does not mean even such a phrase as "and so it will do" or "and that's enough. This means that a given student, as he thinks, is not interested, not so much in anything, but in his future destiny, for sure.
He argues in this way - I passed the obligatory mathematics and the Russian language somehow, which means I am free and will do whatever I want. If earlier it was possible to somehow justify such an approach, to understand to some extent a student, albeit with a huge stretch, then at the moment it is impossible to say so, everything has changed dramatically recently.

After all, no one will argue that the information age is in the yard with rapidly changing technologies, where hard work is no longer appreciated, but a person's knowledge, his ability to act and make the right decisions, as well as responsibility and professional attitude to his work are in greater demand.

Where does the responsibility of that boy or girl of high school students who treat the exam in this way come from? And this is where it all begins, how you treat yourself, gaining knowledge, passing exams, future studies at a university or college, mastering a future profession, and your life will be formed.

Nobody hides the fact that today in Russia there are big problems with professionals in their field, specialists in various fields, and this is an excellent reason to declare yourself, for which, first of all, you need to take up your mind and show what you are capable of, and before in total on state exams, to achieve not the minimum, but the maximum score on the exam.

Next year, the Russian government decided to amend the state compulsory exam of the Unified State Exam. It is planned to introduce the oral part of the USE in the Russian language 2017. Algorithms for the oral part are already there. As with the delivery of foreign languages orally, the student listens to the assignment for twenty minutes and answers five questions, describing the picture and asking questions. Next, the reviewers listen to the student's recording and give a grade. This model of the oral part of the exam in the Russian language suits the experts. The only thing that is required from the government of the country is to quickly and efficiently equip premises for passing this type of exam. Because, unlike foreign languages, about 700 thousand applicants pass Russian annually. The only aesthetic inconvenience is the passing of an oral exam for children with speech impairments, but this is now being considered by teachers to improve the overall delivery system.

Each graduate who wants to become a student of one of the universities of the Russian Federation in 2018 has a difficult task - to successfully pass the Unified State Exam, as well as to choose the right educational institution and faculty for submitting documents. Most 11th graders and their parents are faced with the final exam grading system for the first time and often find it difficult to find answers to the questions that arise. Therefore, we decided to shed some light on important points.

In 2017-2018, the basic rules for passing the exam will not be significantly changed. This means that for graduates, the 100-point grading system for final tests will also be relevant.

How is it going?

During the examination of the examination papers, for each correctly completed task, the graduate is credited with the so-called "primary points", which upon completion of the examination of the work are summed up and transferred to the "test score", which is indicated in the USE certificate.

Important! Since 2009, the scale of transferring the primary and test scores of the USE into the traditional school five-point grades has not been officially used, because in 2017 and 2018 the final exams are not included in the certificate.

Verification of work is carried out in two ways:

  • automatically (using special programs and technical means);
  • manually (the correctness of the detailed answers is checked by two independent experts).

It is quite difficult to dispute the result of an automatic check. If, when filling out the answer table, the basic rules were not followed, the computer may not protect the result, and only the graduate himself will be to blame for this, who has not followed a number of mandatory rules.

If controversial points arise during the expert review, a third specialist is involved, whose opinion will be decisive.

When to expect results?

The following time frames apply by law:

  • data processing (on compulsory subjects) in the RSCI should not last longer than 6 calendar days;
  • for data processing (optional subjects), the RCRO is given 4 days;
  • verification at the Federal Testing Center should take no more than 5 business days;
  • approval of the results by the State Examination Commission - 1 more day;
  • up to 3 days for sending the results to the USE participants.

In practice, it can take from 8 to 14 days from the moment of passing the exam to receiving the official result.

Converting USE scores into grades

Despite the fact that officially in 2018 the scale for converting points in USE subjects into a five-point assessment is not used, many still want to interpret their result in a more familiar "school" system. To do this, you can use special tables or online calculators.

The second method is a little easier and more convenient than searching for the required values in the cells of a huge table. It is enough just to select a subject (mathematics, Russian, chemistry, physics, history, English, social studies ... and other subjects), enter the data and get the desired result in a matter of seconds.

We suggest trying how simple and convenient it is to use in practice online calculators of the USE score and its translation into a 5-point grade.

Internet systems for applicants

The 2017-2018 academic year is over, the exam has been passed, the results are known, and even the interactive scale for translating primary points showed that the USE result was in a fairly good range ... But is this enough to enter the desired university?

Assess your real chances of joining based on test scores and the university's minimum passing threshold.

Important! The minimum passing score is formed by the university itself. It will directly depend on the points of applicants who apply in 2018. The more popular the specialty, the higher the passing score will be.

Often, even 100-point results are not enough for admission to the budget at TOP faculties. Chances to see their surname in the lists of those who entered such directions are only for the prize-winners of the Olympiads, who give significant additional points.

In 2018, the most popular services for selecting a university and monitoring the threshold of entrance points for various specialties will be:

  1. Ucheba.ru
  2. Apply online
  3. Higher School of Economics calculator
  4. Postyplenie.ru
  5. Typical applicant

Finding these services is very easy. It is enough to enter their name into any search engine.
