The Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program (TEA) is held annually. 170 eligible participants will travel to the United States in two teams in the spring or fall. The program is organized by the International Research and Exchanges Council (IREX), and financially supported by the Department of Educational and Cultural Programs of the US Department of State.

During an intensive six-week professional internship at a US university, program participants will take: - a specialized course in pedagogy and in their subject area;

All teachers who have at least 5 years of professional experience and who teach the following disciplines in secondary schools in Russia can participate in the program:

Fulbright University Faculty

The Fulbright Faculty Development Program (FFDP) grants are awarded on a competitive basis to develop a new or improve an existing training course for a Russian university within the declared discipline.

Grants are awarded to university professors no older than 39 years old. The finalists of the competition will fly to the United States in a group in August 2017.

The program begins with a three-day workshop that explores the theoretical aspects and methodology of US curriculum development. After the seminar, all participants travel to US universities, which are selected for each finalist, taking into account the declared discipline.

The main goal of the program is to improve teaching skills and cultural exchange between the United States and other countries.

"My project is for my country!" - competition of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, 2 million 800 thousand rubles

Subject reflected in the nominations: social services and social support of citizens; health protection and promotion of a healthy lifestyle; support for family, motherhood, childhood and protection of traditional family values; support for youth initiatives; development of science, education and enlightenment; projects in the field of culture and art, preservation of spiritual heritage; protection of human and civil rights and freedoms; ecology and environmental protection; strengthening interethnic and interreligious harmony; development of public diplomacy and support for compatriots; patriotic education and preservation of historical memory; initiatives in the field of charity and volunteerism, assistance to the development of the non-profit sector and socially oriented NGOs, public control over the activities of state authorities and local self-government.

Participants: leaders of NGOs, leaders of social projects, public activists, socially active citizens, socially responsible companies.

2018 schedule: Applications were accepted from June 12 to August 26 on the official website of the competition organizer; the winners were awarded on November 3.

Examples of winning projects: "Golden Hour" (teaching people of the older generation the skills of first aid, Saransk); “Match of Equal Opportunities” (Krasnoyarsk); “Where does garbage go” (system of public monitoring of removal and disposal of solid municipal waste (MSW), Moscow); cultural, educational and integration center "School of Migrants" (Khanty-Mansiysk).

Competition for social and entrepreneurial projects - Fund for Support of Initiatives in the Social Sphere "Towards Change", 1.2 million rubles

Competition budget: grant size - 1.2 million rubles. The top five projects receive it. Ten finalists take part in the Incubator professional development program. Fifty semi-finalists - in training seminars.

Subject: innovative ways to solve the problems of children and adolescents.

Participants: NGOs and initiative citizens.

2018 schedule: applications were accepted from April 15 to June 22; the winners were announced on November 22, 2018.

Examples of finalist projects: a mobile application that teaches children with ASD to recognize and express emotions (Rostov-on-Don); interactive seminars aimed at preventing bad habits among children and adolescents (Penza); a bakery where graduates and pupils of orphanages are trained (St. Petersburg), etc.

Geography: the entire territory of the Russian Federation.

There are also foundations of local communities - they invest funds from endowments in social projects, for example, the local community fund "Civil Union" in Penza. In addition, regional NGOs organize contests for social projects in their territories. For example, the competition "My area of ​​goodness" is held in the Arkhangelsk region by the Arkhangelsk Center for Social Technologies "Garant"

The competition for presidential grants in 2018 starts on February 15. The timing of the competitions was set by the head of the Presidential Grants Fund, Ilya Chukalin, at the opening of the Kind People festival of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation.

Applications will be accepted for a month and a half - until March 31, 2018, the winners will be announced on June 15. The start of accepting projects for the second competition is scheduled for August 15, the end of admission is September 28. The winners will be announced on November 30th.

Let us recall that projects of non-profit non-governmental organizations, providing for the implementation of activities in the following areas, can be submitted to the competition:
social services, social support and protection of citizens;
health protection of citizens, promotion of a healthy lifestyle;
support for family, motherhood, fatherhood and childhood;
support for youth projects, the implementation of which covers the types of activities provided for in Article 31.1 of the Federal Law of January 12, 1996 No. 7-FZ "On Non-Commercial Organizations";
support of projects in the field of science, education, enlightenment;
support of projects in the field of culture and art;
preservation of historical memory;
protection of human and civil rights and freedoms, including protection of prisoners' rights;
environmental protection and animal welfare;
strengthening interethnic and interreligious harmony;
development of public diplomacy and support for compatriots;
development of civil society institutions.

Competition - for non-governmental organizations

The competition is open to non-profit non-governmental organizations that meet all of the following requirements:
1) the organization is registered no later than one year before the deadline for accepting applications for participation in the competition, and if the organization requests a grant in the amount of up to five hundred thousand rubles, no later than six months before the deadline for accepting applications for participation in the competition;
2) the organization carries out, in accordance with the charter, one or more types of activities corresponding to the directions specified in paragraph 4 of this provision;
3) the organization is not in the process of liquidation, insolvency (bankruptcy) proceedings have not been initiated against it, the organization's activities have not been suspended in the manner prescribed by law;
4) the organization has no overdue debts in taxes, fees and other obligatory payments to the budgets of the budgetary system of the Russian Federation, the deadline for which has come in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation (except for the amounts for which there is a court decision that has entered into legal force recognizing the obligation organizations for the payment of these amounts fulfilled or which are recognized as hopeless to be collected in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation on taxes and fees). An organization is recognized as complying with the established requirement if it has submitted an application to appeal against the specified debt in the prescribed manner and a decision on such an application has not been made as of the date the organization submits an application for participation in the competition.

A total of 3,213 winners in 2017, which is more than twice the number of winners of all competitions in 2016 for all grant operators (1,581 winners). The total amount of grants distributed for 2017 is 6,653.8 million rubles.
