Maximum points on the exam. Translation of exam points in Russian

How the USE results are assessed

The USE results are assessed on a 100-point scale and are presented in a special "Certificate of the results of the unified state exam."

When assessing the results of the USE, the minimum number of test points for each educational subject is established, confirming the mastering by the graduate of the main general educational programs of secondary (complete) education in accordance with the requirements of the federal educational standard of secondary (complete) general education. If the student scored less than the established minimum number of points (did not overcome the minimum threshold), then the USE is considered not passed.

The value of the minimum threshold is announced within 6-8 days after the USE in the subject in the main terms and 2-3 days after the USE in additional terms in July.

Unified State Exam Assessment Scale

When you complete tasks on the exam, for each correct decision, 1 or more points are awarded, depending on the difficulty. In this case, a correctly completed task of part A or B is estimated at 1 point, part C - up to 4 points. The sum of these points is called the “baseline score” (PB). In fact, this is the number of correctly completed tasks.

    The number of minimum PBs for different subjects may differ, for example:
  • math: 36 PB,
  • biology: 36 PB,
  • foreign languages: 22 PB.

But these are not the points that will be useful to you, for example, for admission to a university. They need to be translated on a 100-point scale. This is the so-called "test score" (TB).

TB evaluates the student's level of preparedness. It depends on the level of complexity of the tasks performed on the exam. This score is used to determine the final grade. The maximum test score on the exam in any subject: 100 points.

The primary score is converted to a test score according to a special formula.

How the Unified State Exam affects obtaining a certificate

The basis for issuing a secondary education certificate to a graduate is satisfactory USE results, i.e., the number of points is not lower than the minimum threshold in compulsory subjects (Russian and mathematics). In this case, the graduate receives 2 documents: a school certificate and a certificate of the results of the exam.

The final marks are set in the certificate according to the traditional 5-point system, which are defined as the arithmetic average of the graduate's annual marks for grades 10-11 (12).

The USE results do not affect the final marks set in the certificate.

If a graduate has not passed the minimum threshold in one of the subjects - Russian language or mathematics - on the Unified State Exam in the main terms and during retake, then he will not be issued a certificate.

How and when you can find out the results of the exam

The results of the exam must be known to participants no later than 3 working days after Rosobrnadzor announces the minimum thresholds for each of the subjects. Thus, no more than 12 days pass from the date of the exam. Most regions inform their USE participants earlier.

Unified State Exam participants - graduates of the current year, certificates of USE results are issued at an educational institution. The rest of the USE participants will find out their results where they received a pass to the USE: this is either the PPE in which they took the exam, or the education governing body of the constituent entity of the Russian Federation, local education governing bodies.

According to the current regulations, each constituent entity of the Russian Federation is independently responsible for informing USE participants about the results. In some regions, this information can be accessed free of charge on the Internet. You can find out your results with an individual code (passport number, etc.).

  • Moscow and Moscow region: www.rcoi.net
  • St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region: ege.spb.ru

Lists of USE participants with their exam results are posted on information boards (at school, PPE, educational administration, etc.).

The validity period of the certificate of the results of the exam

On November 20, 2013, letter No. DL-345/17 of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation "On the effect of the USE results" was published.

"The Ministry of Education and Science of Russia on the issue of the effect of the results of the unified state exam obtained before the entry into force of September 1, 2013 of the Federal Law of December 29, 2012 No. 273-FZ" On Education in the Russian Federation "(hereinafter - the Federal Law), informs ...

According to part 2 of Article 70 of the Federal Law, the results of the unified state examination for admission to training in undergraduate and specialist programs valid for four years following the year of obtaining such results.

Consequently, admission to organizations that carry out educational activities for bachelor's and specialty programs is allowed based on the results of a unified state exam, confirmed by certificates of the Unified State Exam issued in 2015 and 2016, and valid until the end of 2019 and 2020, respectively.

The USE certificate after September 1, 2020 is valid for four years following the year of passing the exam. That is, the 2018 certificate expires in December 2022 and can be used for admission to universities in the period from 2018 to 2022. Consequently, certificates issued in 2019 and 2020 are valid through 2023 and 2024, respectively.

The 2018-2019 academic year will be the graduation year for many Russian schoolchildren, who are already concerned about the successful completion of the Unified State Exam and successful admission to a good university.

We will tell you how the examination papers are checked in different subjects, how the scale for converting USE scores into grades works, and what innovations can be expected in 2019.

Principles for evaluating the work of the Unified State Examination in 2019

Over the past few years, the USE system in a number of subjects has undergone significant changes and has been brought to the optimal (according to the organizers) format, which makes it possible to fully assess the amount of knowledge of a graduate in a particular subject.

In 2018-2019, no cardinal changes are expected, and it is safe to say that the same principles will be applied to assessing the work of graduates as in 2017-2018:

  1. automated check of forms;
  2. involvement of experts in checking tasks with detailed answers.

How does a computer evaluate?

The first part of the examination work involves a short answer to the questions posed, which the USE participant must enter in a special answer form.

Important! Before starting the work, be sure to read the rules for filling out the form, since an incorrectly executed work will not pass an automated check.

It is quite difficult to dispute the result of a computer check. If the work was not counted due to the fault of the participant who incorrectly filled out the form, the result is considered unsatisfactory.

How do the experts assess?

In many subjects, in addition to the test part, there are tasks for which it is necessary to give a full detailed answer. Since it is impossible to automate the process of checking such answers, experts are involved in checking - experienced teachers with extensive work experience.

When checking the exam, the teacher does not know (and even with a great desire cannot find out) whose work lies before him and in which city (region) it was written. The check is carried out on the basis of uniform assessment criteria developed specifically for each subject. Each work is checked by two experts. If the opinion of the experts coincides, the assessment is put on the form, but if the independent appraisers disagree, then a third expert is involved in the verification, whose opinion will be decisive.

That is why it is important to write legibly and accurately so that there is no ambiguous interpretation of words and phrases.

Primary and test scores

Based on the results of the test, the USE participant is awarded a certain number of primary points, which are then converted into text (points for the entire test). Different subjects provide for different maximum primary points, depending on the number of tasks. But after bringing the result according to the corresponding table, the USE participant receives a final test score, which is the official result of his final tests (maximum 100 points).

So, in order to pass the exam, it is enough to collect the established minimum threshold for the primary score:

Based on these numbers, you can understand for sure that the exam has been passed. But what is the grade? The online scale of 2018 will help you with this, designed specifically for transferring primary USE scores into test ones, which will also be relevant for the results of 2019. A handy calculator can be found at 4ege.ru.

Announcement of official results

Graduates are always worried about the question - how quickly can you find out what result was obtained upon passing and what the scale will be in 2019 for translating the points scored on the exam into traditional grades.

Teachers often undertake to reassure the students, working out the tasks of the USE tickets immediately after the exam and assessing the quality of the work done by the students and the amount of primary points scored. The official results must be waited for 8-14 days, in accordance with the established regulations for the USE-2019. On average, the organizers approve the following inspection schedules:

  • 3 days to check the work;
  • 5-6 days to process information at the federal level;
  • 1 working day for the approval of the results of the GEC;
  • 3 days for posting results on the network and transferring data to educational institutions.

In the event of unforeseen situations and technical problems, these terms may be revised.

You can find out the owl score:

  • directly at your school;
  • on the check.ege.edu.ru portal;
  • on the website gosuslugi.ru.

Converting scores to grades

Since 2009, the results of the USE are not included in the graduate certificate. Therefore, today there is no official state system for translating the USE result into an assessment on a school 5-point scale. Within the framework of the introductory campaign, it is the test score gained on the exam that is always summed up and taken into account. But, many students are still interested to know how they passed the exam - for 3 or 4, 4 or 5. For this, there is a special table in which the correspondences for each of the 100 points in each of the subjects are detailed.

Using such a table is rather inconvenient. It is much easier to find out how you passed the Russian language, mathematics or history using the online calculator 4ege.ru, which also contains a scale for translating USE points, which is relevant for graduates of 2019.

Having received the result of the exam, it is worth deciding on the university as soon as possible, comparing its capabilities with a real competition for specialties of interest. So, the practice of past years shows that in a number of cases it is difficult to get into the most popular areas in the capital's universities, even with high scores, because not only the holders of 100-point USE results will compete for places, but also the winners of the largest Olympiads of the 2018-2019 academic year.

Graduation from school and admission to a university is accompanied by the passing of a unified state exam. When passing it, graduates ask themselves how the primary score is converted to a hundred percent scale.

The translation of USE scores into grades is aimed at determining what indicator a future student can count on.

The scale for converting USE scores into grades

In the process of studying at school, children receive grades on a five-point scale, and in fact even on a four-point scale, since a unit is given extremely rarely.

When passing exams in the ninth and eleventh grades, students are faced with such concepts as primary scores for assignments, as well as a hundred-point scale.

The basic verification procedure is based on computer analysis and expert examination. The test part is subjected to automated counting, it is problematic to dispute the data. But the part that specialists check can be subject to additional analysis.

All points are also converted to grades. Despite the fact that this indicator does not have a significant effect, many students are interested in what marks are given by certain primary points.

Maths

Over the past few years, there have been two types of exams in mathematics:

  • basic, which is needed to obtain a certificate;
  • profile level - required for admission to technical universities.

In the first case, the maximum possible primary score is twenty, for a five it takes seventeen points, for a four - twelve, and for three - only seven points.

As for the profile, an excellent mark is given to those who scored from thirteen to thirty points. Four - for those who received points in the range from ten to twelve points, and three is put from six primary points.

Russian language

The maximum primary score in Russian is thirty-nine; to get a five, it is permissible to miss five points. A four starts at twenty-five points, and a three starts at fifteen. When typing less than fourteen - the exam is considered not passed.

Foreign languages

The highest primary score of all exams - for foreign languages - seventy.

A minimum of fifty-nine points is required to obtain an excellent mark.

As for the four, forty-six points are quite enough, and for the three, twenty-nine.

If a graduate scored less than twenty-eight, then the exam will not be credited to him.

Geography

To be an excellent student in geography, you should solve the tasks for twenty-seven points, the maximum bar is thirty-two. A four - from twenty to twenty-six, and only twelve points are enough for a three.

Biology

You can accumulate forty-six points for a biology exam, while the lower bar for a five is thirty-seven points.

A three starts at thirteen and a four starts at twenty-six.

Failure is a test on which less than twelve points are scored.

Literature

With a successful delivery of literature within the USE, you can get up to thirty-three points, while the countdown of the five starts from twenty-seven. For a four, twenty points are enough, and for a three, twelve.

Chemistry

For chemistry, thirty-four points are allowed, of which twenty-seven is enough for an excellent mark. A four starts at nineteen, and nine points are enough for a three.

History

For the history exam, forty-four points are accumulated.

A lack of even nine points will give the graduate an excellent mark.

The one who solves the twenty-four-point test will be good in history. A satisfactory mark starts at thirteen points.

Computer science

The lowest primary score for the computer science exam is twenty-two. However, in order to get a mark of five, let's say there are only four points shortfall. A three starts at five points, and a three starts at twelve.

Social Studies

To acquire a five in social studies, you need to score from thirty-four to thirty-five points. Twenty-five will be enough for good people, and fifteen for those who are satisfied with a satisfactory mark.

Preparation for the exam

The online service GDZ, which presents reshebniks from various authors, including mathematics of the 6th grade of Vilenkin, have many advantages over using reshebniks in paper format:

  1. the service is free;
  2. you can download textbooks;
  3. the service is available at any time of the day, any day of the week;
  4. you can use the service from anywhere with Internet access;
  5. on the service, there are solvers compiled by highly qualified specialists, which eliminates the likelihood of receiving inaccurate or low-quality information.

An important advantage of the GDZ online service is the ability to access from any computer device, regardless of the operating system installed on the device.

A wide selection of solvers presented on the site allows you to find an answer to almost any question of interest to a student. So now it's easier to learn.

What does the primary score in the exam mean?

Basic concepts:

  1. Primary - the amount of points that can be gained when solving tasks; depending on the complexity, the tasks are assigned a certain number of points.
  2. Test - points transferred into the system from one hundred points for solved tasks.

This system was invented for ease of calculating the results, since admission to the university is based on the sum of points for several exams, and the maximum primary indicator for subjects is different.

The fact is that each task in the topics is evaluated separately and there is a special counter for the distribution of points.

How to convert primary points to secondary points

In order to carry out the transfer of primary points to secondary, it is required to use a special scale, which is presented on the official websites of FIPI, as well as a number of third-party sources.

It is problematic to make a count yourself, for this you need to know exactly the principle of enumeration.

The article presents a calculator for translating information. The criteria that are considered are based on the performance of the exam passed.

Minimum scores on the exam

The size of the minimum points is approved annually as the basis that is required to obtain a certificate at school and become eligible to apply.

In accordance with current legislation, in order to graduate from school with an official educational document, it is necessary to pass two subjects:

  • Russian - twenty four;
  • mathematics - twenty-seven.

All other subjects are handed over for admission to the university. This means that the student has the right not to choose anything, with the exception of the Russian language and mathematics, and to take at least all the subjects from the table.

As for the entry points for admission, the higher educational institution independently determines the threshold for each subject, but this parameter cannot be lower than that established at the state level.

The indicators are as follows:

  1. Russian language, chemistry, biology and physics - thirty-six.
  2. Mathematics - twenty seven.
  3. Computer science - forty.
  4. History and literature - thirty-two.
  5. Foreign languages - twenty two.
  6. Social studies - forty-two.
  7. Geography - thirty-seven.

In this list, secondary points are indicated, that is, the points have already been transferred to the 100-point system. It is important to take into account that a specific university has the right to establish inflated mark-up requirements, this is not prohibited by law.

Maximum score on the exam

The maximum score on a single state exam in each of the subjects is one hundred in the secondary system.

In order to determine the maximum number of allowable points by discipline, one should refer either to the table of conversion from primary to secondary points, or to the codifier for the subjects presented in each average test sample.

How to get 100 points on the exam

To gain the maximum number of points on the exam, it is required not only to be well versed in the subject, but also to be able to competently solve standard test tasks.

When preparing, one should be guided by the following:

  1. For several years, study material every day in subjects that are planned to be taken after graduation.
  2. Solving a lot of test-type tasks, this will help you get your hands on and repeat all the topics more than once.
  3. When solving tasks for the written part, it is worth contacting experts who will help in the analysis and suggest the rules for processing.
  4. On the exam itself, behave calmly, if the graduate is well-versed in the topic, then there will be no problems with solutions.

Converting USE scores into grades is a formality that allows you to evaluate the results in a more familiar way. But the calculation from primary to secondary is an important stage. Higher educational institutions set the bar and passing standards based on a one-hundred-point scale.

The minimum required points. Transfer of points to a five-point system.
